THE COMMUNITY SERVICES MINISTRY’S Spring Fundraiser Sale will take place on Sunday, April 27, in our fellowship hall. This sale will feature antique items and collectibles and will be cash only. The group is looking for volunteers willing to help set up next Saturday night the 26th or monitor tables during the sale on the 27th. A sign-up sheet is in the foyer.
OUR SHELTER MINISTRY WILL BE DELIVERING 25 boxes of See’s Candy on Mother’s Day to the mothers living in the South Bay domestic violence shelter. Each box will cost $32. If you would like to donate to this ministry that brings joy and hope to so many, please indicate Women’s Shelter on your tithe envelope.
THE TIERRASANTA VILLAGE OF SAN DIEGO will be holding a free “Healthy Living Senior Resource Fair” in our fellowship hall this Wednesday from 9 am to 12 pm. This free event is open to everyone; however, early registration is required. To register, call (858) 569-9119.
WE ARE IN GREAT NEED OF VOLUNTEERS to give the children’s story over the next few months. If you would like to contribute to our church in this way, a sign-up sheet is located in the right foyer alcove.
OUR NEXT CHURCH SOCIAL EVENT will take place on Sunday, May 4, at 3:00 pm. Bring your iPad/iPhone and learn about apps and other features as Mike White leads an informative and helpful “tech support” seminar.
THE NEXT AND FINAL “TEEN SABBATH” before summer break will take place on Sabbath, May 3, at 11:00 am in the Youth Room. Teens 12-17 are welcome to join us for a fellowship and potluck in the Youth Room followed by a beach day at La Jolla Shores. Please bring a dish to share!
