WE ARE IN THE MIDST OF A SERMON SERIES on the philosophy of the Tierrasanta SDA Church. Our sermon today will focus on another aspect of the Tierrasanta Church experience: our penchant to put ritual in a proper perspective. Customs, traditions, and rituals are important only insofar as they contribute to the overall mission of the church. But they are not more important than people. Some wonder why we do—or don’t do—certain things at our church. We hope you enjoy today’s sermon.
