WE ARE IN THE MIDST OF A SERMON SERIES on the topic of biblical inspiration and interpretation. Each of the books of the Bible is a separate document with a unique context. Is it any wonder that we detect differences between them and among them? Yet the Spirit of God can be detected in them also. How are we to relate to an ancient “holy” book in the modern age? Is there wisdom in the Bible that transcends time and place? We pray these messages are a blessing in your life.

KELLY HESTER’S SABBATH SCHOOL CLASS has just started reading a new book: “The Rest of God” by Mark Buchanan.
SAN DIEGO ACADEMY’S FALL FESTIVAL will be held on Sunday, November 12, from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm, on the Academy’s campus. $2 entry fee. All are invited to come support the Academy and enjoy some fun, food, drinks, and live music!
NEXT SABBATH, OCTOBER 28, FROM 2:00-4:30 PM: Come enjoy the tide pools at Cabrillo National Monument! The entrance fee is $20/vehicle. Low tide is at 3:45 pm (one of the lowest tides on a Sabbath afternoon in 2023!). The tide pools close at 4:30 pm.
