TODAY WE ARE BLESSED TO WELCOME BACK to our podium Pastor Bohdan Vadis of the Tierrasanta Lutheran Church. Pastor Vadis was born in Bemidji, Minnesota and earned his Master of Divinity from the Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, California. On his day off, this Minnesota native enjoys fishing and playing hockey and can regularly be found on the ice or the water in San Diego. We are blessed to have Pastor Vadis returning as our guest speaker this morning.
WE WANT TO EXTEND A WARM WELCOME to San Diego Academy classmates—Class of 1982 40th year reunion weekend!

WE ARE IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS to give the opening prayer and children’s story each Sabbath. We love seeing new faces on the pulpit and hope you will consider giving back to our Church in this way. We invite you to sign up in our foyer alcove.
ANDY BISHOP’S FAMILY has partnered with his Alma Mater, Pacific Union College, to establish the Andy Bishop Fund in his honor. This fund will be used to subsidize special projects in the communication department, provide PUC Junior and Senior Communication majors with scholarships, coordinate quality internships, and develop a network of Alumni and partnering businesses that will provide graduates with employment opportunities. Those who knew Andy recognized his kindness, adventurous spirit, and love for storytelling. Recipients of the award will be chosen based on passions and interests that align with Andy’s. Andy’s legacy will continue to live on at PUC, and his passion for life can serve as an inspiration to fellow PUC grads. If you would like to contribute to the Andy Bishop Fund, please visit www.puc.edu/andybishopfund.
