NEXT SABBATH IS OUR ANNUAL “CHRISTMAS SABBATH” service! This special service will be filled with lots of music including music from a member of the San Diego Symphony Orchestra. The festivities will begin at 9:30 am with a delicious Christmas breakfast served in the fellowship hall until 10:15 am. The worship service will begin at 11:00 am. There will be no Sabbath School classes next week. We hope you will be able to join us as we celebrate Christ’s birth together.
OUR CHRISTMAS ANGEL SHELTER MINISTRY has changed over the past few years. This Christmas season, our Church will be providing the financial means necessary for each mother living in the shelter to purchase Christmas gifts for her family. Although the format of our gift-giving to the families living in the South Bay Shelter has changed, the abundance of joy we are able to bring to the 46 children who will wake up in the shelter on Christmas morning has not. If it is within your budget to donate monetarily to this ministry, we invite you to do so by indicating “Women’s Shelter” on your tithe envelope or by donating on our website.
MEMBERSHIP TRANSFER REQUESTS (FIRST READING) have been made by the following individuals wishing to transfer their membership to our Church: Gabriella Rivera Suarez from the Monteverde SDA Church in Monteverde, Colombia; Robert Maldonado & Dalila Ortiz from the Escondido SDA Church; and David Maldonado from the San Ysidro Spanish SDA Church.
OUR FINAL ADVENT VESPERS PROGRAM of the season is this Friday night, December 22, at 6:00 pm. The short program will be followed by light refreshments in the fellowship hall. We hope you will be able to join us for the final night of this TSDAC tradition!
CHRISTMAS CARDS FOR OUR CHURCH FAMILY SHUT-INS are located in the left foyer alcove. If you would like to help brighten the spirits of those in our Church family who are unable to attend in-person services, we invite you to write them a Christmas card and place it in the basket. These cards will be delivered to everyone by Christmas.
