WE ARE IN THE MIDST OF A NEW SERMON SERIES titled “The Ends of Time.” Today we look at the apocalyptic ideas found in the Book of Revelation. Is this a book foretelling the future, or is it a failed prophecy–or a little bit of both? And why have so many latched on to this book with wacky predictions and even more wacky behavior? We pray you receive a blessing from the message.
THE FIRST AND SECOND SABBATH BREAKFAST TEAMS are in great need of help. Please reach out to Pastor Gary if you would like to join one of these teams, or even just contribute periodically. We are also in need of volunteers to make/serve breakfast next Sabbath—the 5th Sabbath of the month. If interested, please sign up at the table in the foyer.
THE NEXT “TEEN SABBATH” is taking place on Sabbath, November 7, beginning at 11:00 am in the Youth Room. The group will enjoy a “Friendsgiving” lunch and later will participate in a game night hosted by the Hester family. Each month during the school year, this group of teens meets to worship, potluck with one another, and enjoy activities that lead to lasting memories and friendships. All teens ages 12-17 are invited to join!
A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR CHARLENE WACKER will take place in our sanctuary on Sabbath afternoon, November 21, at 2:00 pm. A fellowship lunch will be served that afternoon in the Fellowship Hall at 12:30 pm. All who loved Charlene are invited to attend. Please continue to keep the entire Wacker and Cermak families in your prayers during this difficult time.
WE ARE SUPPORTING 6 CHILDREN at San Diego and Escondido Adventist Academies this school year. Our Tuition Assistance Fund has been depleted as of this date. If you are looking for a particular fund for your church donation, please consider giving to the “Tuition Assistance” fund.
