THE NEXT MEETING of the Tierrasanta SDA Church Board will be tomorrow, March 6, at 4:00 pm in the Board Room.
LOCAL NON-PROFIT, FRIENDSHIPS FOR HOPE, will be holding a rummage sale starting tomorrow, March 6, and running through March 8. It will take place from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm each day at Paradise Valley Community Center (2701 E 8th St., National City, CA 91950). Items for sale include antiques, books, furniture, household items, tools, electronics, and more!
A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR NANCI TODD-WILLIAMS will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 13, at the Clairemont SDA Church (4125 Hathaway St, San Diego 92111). The family requests that you wear her favorite color red in her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the San Diego Academy Worthy Student Fund.
OUR BREAKFAST BAR is open every Sabbath morning from 9:00-9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. If you would like to volunteer to be part of a breakfast team, please contact the church office. We are still looking for a 5th Sabbath breakfast crew.
WE ARE HOPING TO HAVE A COMMUNITY SERVICES GROUP again this year. In the past, Community Services here at Tierrasanta has provided clothing and bedding for needy entities in the San Diego region. Most importantly, for years they have provided baby layettes for the new moms who gave birth at the Sharp Mary Birch Center. If you have an interest in coming to a meeting once a week and contributing (sewing, etc), please contact Mary Curtis at (858) 569-1413.
ONE OF OUR MEMBERS, Elaine De Rosa, is in need of a ride to and from church on Sabbath mornings. She lives near the corner of University & Euclid Avenues off Interstate 15. If you can assist her, please call her at (619) 508-8082.
