TEEN SABBATH IS TAKING PLACE NEXT SABBATH, October 4, at 11:00 am in the Youth Room. The group will fellowship with one another and enjoy a potluck lunch before taking part in a community service event with Sharia’s Closet. Teens between the ages of 12-17 are welcome to join.
A DEAR FRIEND OF OUR CHURCH, RON BRUNS, passed away last Monday. He and his wife Pearl, and their daughter Ronnie Ann, attended our church off-and-on for many years. Thank you for keeping them in your prayers during this difficult time.
THE COST OF UPGRADES AND REPAIRS at our church continues to climb. We are about to install new flooring upstairs in the Education Building, multiple air conditioning units need upgrading, and the Fellowship Hall roof needs repair before the rainy season. We are looking at the prospect of over $60,000 in expenditures when all is said and done. These two buildings are over 34 years old, and showing the wear and tear of years of service. So please continue to give generously to our church expense fund as you can.
VOCAL ENSEMBLE REHEARSALS FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON will begin soon, and typically take place immediately following the worship service. If you would like to join the ensemble and haven’t done so in the past, please talk to Ritchie Carbajal.
