WE ARE HEARTBROKEN TO ANNOUNCE the passing of Charleen Wacker, who was worshipping with us here just last Sabbath. Charleen passed away on Thursday morning surrounded by her loving family. She was 86 years young. Charleen was a staple in our church family and she loved everyone she knew. She was part of the second Sabbath breakfast crew and always made her delicious French toast casserole. She was also a regular member of Pastor Gary’s Sabbath School Class, and her comments were always most interesting. Charleen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Please keep the entire Wacker and Cermak families in your prayers during this extremely difficult time.

With AI about to take over the world, with nuclear uncertainty, time cannot last much longer, can it? Is a relationship with Jesus a comfort during dangerous times? We hope you receive a blessing from the messages in this series.
TEEN SABBATH IS TAKING PLACE TODAY at 11:00 am in the Youth Room. Once per month during the school year, this group for 12–17-year-olds meets to worship, potluck with one another, and enjoy activities that lead to lasting memories and friendships. Today our teens will take part in a “community service day.”
EVERY TWO YEARS the SECC holds informative Mid-Term Sessions in each county of our Conference. This years’ San Diego County Session will be held on October 7 at 6:30 pm in our Fellowship Hall. There will be presentations regarding our SDA schools, finances, and other matters. Any church member may attend.
