OUR DEAR FRIEND, GEORGIA GILLIAM, passed away on Wednesday. Georgia and her husband Gene have been living in a nursing home in Medford, Oregon. Georgia loved this church family and usually watched our worship service online on Sabbath mornings. She was such a bright light in this congregation. She had a wonderful personality, an infectious laugh, and a terrific sense of humor. She will be greatly missed, and her memory will always be a blessed one. Please pray for Gene and their children during this time of mourning.

WE CONTINUE OUR NEW SERMON SERIES TODAY on the subject of demons (or demonology). For centuries the Hebrew people lived without any knowledge of the devil. Why was that? What happened during the 2nd Temple period that created such a lively awareness of Satan? And how powerful is this person in reality? We hope you find light in this new series.

JOIN US FOR A VESPERS AND ICE CREAM SOCIAL TONIGHT at 6:00 pm at the Voth’s home in Lakeside. A sign-up sheet is located at the table in the foyer. If you’re able to attend, please sign up so we know how many chairs/tables we’ll need.

THE CHURCH BOARD HAS VOTED to make Ritchie and Lederle’s mission trips to the Philippines an official outreach activity of our church. If you would like to support this ministry at any time, please write “Carbajal Mission” on your offering envelope or when donating online.

WE ARE IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS to give the opening prayer or the children’s story. Sign-ups are in the foyer.

THANK YOU FOR CONTINUING TO REMEMBER OUR CHURCH in your giving. We have some challenging expenses ahead of us this calendar year, and your help is greatly appreciated. Of great importance are roofing repairs in the Fellowship Hall, the repair of our baptistry, and much needed upgrades to our A/V system in the Fellowship Hall (we have a Southeastern California Conference meeting in the hall this coming October).
