PASTOR GARY BEGINS A NEW SERMON SERIES TODAY on the subject of demons (or demonology). Most of us who have been Bible readers and church goers most of our lives have a keen sense of Satan and his angels. We read about them on almost every page of the New Testament. Some of us have a heightened awareness of the powers of darkness. But are these dark powers really that powerful? And why is there no Devil or any evil spirits in the Old Testament? Can Satan or his angels read our thoughts? Are demons almost as powerful as God? It is important to understand the truth of these matters from a biblical perspective. So much of what we believe about these things cannot be supported from Scripture. We hope you enjoy this journey of discovery.

MIDWEEK FELLOWSHIP IS ON ITS ANNUAL SUMMER BREAK and will resume its studies on Tuesday, September 8, at 6:00 pm in the Church Board room.
THE CHURCH BOARD HAS VOTED to make Ritchie and Lederle’s mission trips to the Philippines an official outreach activity of our church. Next month they will be traveling with an SDA medical team to General Santos City in the southern part of the country.
