OUR DECEMBER SERMON SERIES titled “The Incarnation” continues today. Last week we looked at the Son of God being incarnated as a baby. But that means very little if it doesn’t make a difference in our lives. So today week we look at his being incarnated in us. We hope you are enjoying this holiday series.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO JOINED US last week for our International Christmas Celebration and last night for our annual Advent Vespers service!
JOIN US NEXT SABBATH for our “Christmas Sabbath” service! This years’ service promises to be truly spectacular as we welcome back the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra! The service will also feature music by our TSDAC Vocal Ensemble. The festivities will begin at 9:30 am with a delicious Christmas breakfast served in the fellowship hall until 10:15 am. The worship service will begin at 11:00 am. There will be no Sabbath School classes next week. In preparation for the orchestra, we need to move the front pews to the rear of the Sanctuary. We need 4 or 5 strong persons to assist in this task. If you can help, please come to the church this coming Tuesday morning, December 16, at 10:00 am.
OUR DEAR FRIEND AND CHURCH MEMBER, MARY BETTS, passed away this week at the age of 87. She and her husband Chobby fell in love with our church when they visited about 20 years ago. Mary never lost her strong faith in God’s leading in her life and she looked forward with great anticipation to being reunited with Chobby at the resurrection. Please keep her family in your prayers during this extremely difficult time.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE tithes and offerings, you may do so in person by dropping your offering into the collection plate at the exit doors or online via our church website.
WE ARE IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS to give the opening prayer and children’s story each Sabbath in 2026. If you would like to give back to our Church in this way, we invite you to sign up in the foyer. No rotating commitment is required. A big ‘thank you’ to everyone who signed up in 2025!
