OUR TWO-PART SERMON SERIES on the two distinctive features of our denomination’s name—the Sabbath and the Second Coming—concludes today. In the first sermon in the series, we looked at why the early Adventists fixated on the Sabbath as a law—and nothing else. This week we look at their connecting the Sabbath with the last days. It was a logical connection based on their presuppositions. We hope you have enjoyed this series.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR MARY BETTS will take place in our sanctuary next Sabbath, January 31, at 12:30 pm.

WE ARE IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS to make and serve breakfast next Sabbath—January 31. If you would like to volunteer to bring a dish or help serve or clean up, please write your name down at the table in the foyer.
