TODAY WE WELCOME PASTOR STEVE BLUE as our guest speaker. Steve recently retired after 40 years of ministry, all served within the Southeastern California Conference! For the past 12 years, Steve served as Senior Pastor of the Escondido SDA Church. Past ministry roles also include serving on the staff, as youth director, and director at Pine Springs Ranch. Steve is married to Valerie Blue who teaches with Diane McCary at Escondido Adventist Academy and considers Diane her best friend! Steve and Valerie have two grown sons and two beautiful grandchildren. They plan to remain living in their home in Escondido as they begin their retirement. We are blessed to have Steve as our guest speaker this morning.
TODAY WE WISH BOB ABBEY AND HIS DAUGHTER & HER HUSBAND, Marty & Linda Holly, safe journeys as they move this week to Nampa, Idaho. Bob has been a long-time fixture in our church family (over 5 decades!). He has held almost every key position in the Church, most recently being in charge of our security system. We pray God’s richest blessings on the family as they enter this new adventure. They will be greatly missed!

OUR COMMUNITY SERVICES MINISTRY has started back up. The group meets each Tuesday morning to make baby layettes for the newborns at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital. If you are interested in joining, please contact Mary Curtis at (858) 569-1413.
DUE TO THE RECENT HEAT WAVE, RATTLESNAKE SEASON has arrived early. Because our church property borders a canyon, these creatures often wander onto our campus. We ask that during these warmer months you keep an especially close eye on your children and stick to the paved paths.
OUR BREAKFAST BAR is open every Sabbath morning from 9:00-9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. We are still looking for volunteers to help out on the occasional 5th Sabbath of the month. If you would like to volunteer to be part of a breakfast team, please contact the church office at (858) 576-9990.
