WE HAVE BEGUN A NEW SERMON SERIES on the life and writings of Paul. Paul’s teachings are fundamental in Christianity and they tell us a lot about the man himself. We hope you enjoy this series.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR SHIRLEY ABBEY will be held tomorrow afternoon, September 12, at 2 pm in our church sanctuary. Shirley was the secretary of the Clairemont, Broadway, San Diego Central, and Tierrasanta SDA Church for many decades and the effect she had on our church will be felt for decades to come. All who knew Shirley and were blessed by her love and boundless sense of humor are invited to come celebrate her life this Sunday.

THE SCAFFOLDING around various points of the education building will be there for the next few weeks. If you have young children, please monitor them closely in that area.

THE SOUTH BAY SHELTER is now accepting donations for non-perishable food items. Donations can be placed in the round barrel in our church foyer.

VOLUNTEER SIGNUPS for opening prayer and children’s story are taking place in our foyer. If you don’t know your future schedule, please don’t let that prevent you from signing up. If the date approaches and you are unable to volunteer, we will gladly find a replacement.

THE SON OF ONE OF OUR CHURCH MEMBERS is available for tutoring or child care services weekday afternoons or any time on the weekends. This young gentleman is a high school sophomore and able to tutor in any subject needed. If you are interested, please contact Danielle Verbrugghen at (619) 302-7227.

FOR SANITATION REASONS, WE HAVE TEMPORARILY PAUSED both the children’s offering and main offering segments of our service. If you would like to contribute tithes and offerings, you may still do so either in person or online by dropping your offering into the offering box in the foyer or visiting our church website.

WE ARE WANTING TO HOLD A MUSIC SERIES next year that will bring Christian groups and musicians to perform in concert in our sanctuary. If you would like to donate to this endeavor, please mark your tithe envelope “music series.”
