VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL is finally here! The “Maker Fun Factory” opens for business this Wednesday at 6 pm right here at the Tierrasanta SDA Church. Today is the last day to sign your child up and you may do so in the courtyard following the worship service.
THE NEXT ADVENTIST FORUM MEETING will be held next Sabbath, July 8, at 9:30 am, in our Fellowship Hall. “Global Migration: A Christian Perspective for a Current Human Phenomenon” will be presented by Carlos Parra, Ph.D., Chair of the World Languages Department at La Sierra University. Breakfast will be served as usual and the Forum presentation will begin while you continue to eat. There will be no adult Sabbath School or Forum lunch next Sabbath.
OUR MIDWEEK FELLOWSHIP is currently on its annual summer break. We hope to see you back in the Board Room for fellowship on Tuesday, August 8 at 6 pm.
SECRET FRIENDS has started again! Although the program was once exclusively reserved for women, we are now opening it up to anyone, male or female, in our congregation. If you would like more info, or to select a Secret Friend of your own, please contact Colleen Larsen at (619) 850-3299.
BEANIE BABIES are in high demand in the Primary Sabbath School classroom. If you have new or gently used beanie babies, Teacher Shan will gladly put them to good use in her classroom!
SUMMER SIGN UPS for volunteer opportunities are available on the bulletin board in the foyer. There are still a few spots left! If you would like to volunteer just one time, please don’t hesitate to write your name down. We love seeing new faces in the foyer and on the platform. No rotating volunteer commitment is necessary.
A FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN is underway here at Tierrasanta to raise money for a new AV system for our sanctuary. An anonymous donor has pledged to match up to $30,000 of the funds raised! Thus far, we have received $23,710 in donations. The total cost of improvements will be $60,000. We are so close to reaching our goal so please consider this campaign in your contributions!
