OUR CURRENT SERMON SERIES, “Let’s Meet Jesus,” continues today. Most Christians (and even most Seventh-day Adventists) focus on Bible study, doctrines, finding the will of God, last day events, and every other imaginable thing except developing a relationship with Jesus of Nazareth. So, let’s get to know Jesus a little bit better over the next few weeks.
THE CHRISTMAS ANGEL MINISTRY begins today! If your heart feels impressed upon to brighten the holiday of someone in need, we encourage you to stop by the Angel booth in the foyer. You may place your gifts in the sanctuary beginning Sabbath, December 7.
THE SAN DIEGO HARMONY RINGERS, San Diego’s premiere handbell choir, will present a free concert today at 2 pm in Liberty Hall at Paradise Village (2700 E 4th St, National City, CA 91950).
THE NEXT SAN DIEGO ADVENTIST FORUM MEETING will take place at 3 pm next Sabbath, November 23, at Paradise Village. Dr. Larry Downing (former long-time pastor of the White Memorial Adventist Church in L.A.) will present “The Bumpy Road to Remnantville: Its Potholes, Detours, Dead Ends, and U-Turns.” Forum meetings are free and open to everyone.
THE WOMEN’S SHELTER THANKSGIVING PROGRAM is underway. This year, the TSDA Shelter Ministry will be purchasing salad, mashed potatoes, rotisserie chicken, and pumpkin pie from Costco for the families in need. If you would like to help these families this Thanksgiving season, please place your donation in a tithe envelope and mark Women’s Shelter on the corresponding line.
WE ARE CURRENTLY RAISING FUNDS to have an automatic handicap door installed at the far east entrance of our sanctuary building. If you would like to donate to this endeavor, please place your donation in a tithe envelope and write “handicap door” on an available line.
THE NEXT PATHFINDER MEETING is from 1-5 pm next Sabbath, November 23. Please wear your class B uniform.
